The Stone of Rome

The Stone of Rome was a modern interpretation of Bocca della Verità that invited participants to insert their hand into its mouth, tell a lie, and receive a penance. The exterior was constructed of epoxy resin and interior components included proximity sensors, LEDs, and a speech chip. The program was written in BASIC and installed on a PICAXE microcontroller.
